John F. Pergande
I am a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and yes I am a Packer fan. I graduated
from Yale in 1985. While at Yale, I was a member of the heavyweight crew team for
four years. After college, I worked for two years at the New York Futures Exchange,
and then spent two years as a market maker, trading stock options on the floor of the
Chicago Board Options Exchange. I graduated from Northwestern's Kellogg School of
Management in 1991. From 1991 to 1995, I worked for Citibank as a corporate banker
covering the southwestern US. Next, I joined the corporate finance group at
Electronic Data Systems doing M&A work, contract risk analysis, and bankruptcy
workouts. In the fall of 1997, I joined Pyramid Services, Inc.as CFO. Pyramid
is a developer of insurance claims processing software. In early 1998, as president
of Pyramid Partners and in conjunction with management, the principals of BVA bought the
company from its parent. Since that time, BVA has invested in, offered
management assistance to and participated on the boards of 8
companies. I am currently working full-time as the CEO of
InsureZone. |
