We intend to invest in only a few companies and devote ourselves to making those companies successful. After our initial investment we work closely with the company to help it succeed. That includes board representation, help with executive recruitment and banking relationships, and introduction to potential customers. We regard the investment in a company to be the establishment of a relationship, which will only succeed if both parties are equally dedicated to the future of the company. Our principals, over many years of successful investing, board consultation, and company management, have developed a large network of contacts across most industries. We seek to make investments in companies in which we can leverage these contacts.
